What is Snapfuneral?
Snapfuneral is an online casket retailer. We offer a curated selection of caskets at transparent, affordable prices and ship them directly to any licensed funeral home in the contiguous United States — for free. We are not a funeral home; we are a retailer that makes it easy for families to purchase a casket independently.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is completely free to any licensed funeral home in the lower 48 states. There are no hidden fees, no handling charges, and no surprise costs at checkout.
Can the funeral home refuse my casket?
No. Under the Federal Trade Commission’s Funeral Rule (16 CFR Part 453), all licensed funeral homes in the United States are legally required to accept third-party caskets. They cannot charge you a handling fee or refuse delivery. If a funeral home attempts to do so, you can report them directly to the FTC at ftc.gov/funeralrule.
How long does delivery take?
Most orders are delivered to the funeral home within 2–6 business days from order confirmation. If you need expedited or next-day delivery, contact us at info@snapfuneral.com before placing your order and we will do our best to accommodate.
What if I need the casket urgently?
Contact us immediately at info@snapfuneral.com or call/text us. We will check availability and carrier options for your location. Rush delivery is often possible, though it may involve an additional shipping cost.
Do I need a PayPal account to check out?
No. You can pay with any major credit or debit card through PayPal’s secure checkout without creating a PayPal account. Simply choose “Pay with Debit or Credit Card” on the PayPal screen.
Can I choose a specific color for my casket?
Many of our steel caskets are available in multiple colors. Use the “Color Preferences” field at checkout to specify your preference (e.g., “Dark Blue” or “Silver”). We will do our best to fulfill your request based on availability and confirm with you before shipment if needed.
What happens after I place my order?
After payment is confirmed you will receive an email confirmation. Our team will process your order and coordinate delivery to the funeral home you specified. You will be contacted within 2 hours during business hours to confirm the order details. The casket ships directly from our supplier’s warehouse to the funeral home — you do not need to be present.
Can I cancel my order?
You can cancel for a full refund if you contact us before the order is shipped — typically within 2–4 hours of placing the order during business hours. Email info@snapfuneral.com immediately with your order ID. Once the casket has shipped, we are unable to cancel the order.
What if the casket arrives damaged?
If the casket arrives at the funeral home with visible transit damage, document it with photos immediately and contact us at info@snapfuneral.com within 24 hours. Do not refuse delivery — accept it and document the damage. We will work with our supplier to arrange a remedy, which may include replacement or compensation.
Do you offer returns?
All sales are final once a casket has shipped, due to the nature and time-sensitivity of funeral merchandise. Returns are not accepted for change of mind, color preference, or style. If an item arrives damaged or materially different from what was ordered, contact us within 24 hours — see above.
Is my payment information secure?
Yes. All payments are processed by PayPal using industry-standard encryption. Snapfuneral never sees, stores, or has access to your card details. Your payment information goes directly to PayPal’s secure servers.
Do you ship to Alaska, Hawaii, or outside the US?
Currently we ship only to licensed funeral homes in the contiguous United States (lower 48 states). We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or internationally. Contact us if you have a unique situation and we will try to help.
What is the FTC Funeral Rule and why does it matter?
The FTC Funeral Rule is a federal regulation that gives consumers the right to purchase caskets from any source they choose. Funeral homes are legally required to accept outside caskets and cannot charge a handling or “casket inspection” fee. This law exists to protect families from being forced to buy overpriced caskets from the funeral home. Snapfuneral was built to help families take advantage of this right.

How do I know which casket to choose?
Consider three things: budget, material preference, and any special meaning (military service, eco-consciousness, etc.).
